Earlier in the day Dean had given me a little speech about how I'm not perfect and I need to go a little easier on him.
Later that night we were going on a date and I had just gotten dressed and put on my boots. I asked Dean if my outfit looked okay.
Dean: Well I hate those boots
Me: What you were with my when I bought them, you told me you liked them
Dean: Noooo I didn't... you asked me what ones I liked better and I liked those ugly ones better than the uglier ones.
...now is a fine time to tell me that, I had been wearing them for two weeks
20 minutes later when we are driving in the car I turned to him and asked
Me: What do you think about my hair like this
Dean: O ya I was wondering about that
Me: What, What does that mean
Dean: Well when we were walking out of the house I was like, 'I wonder if she knows her hair looks like that'
... again now is a fine time to tell me that
and I'm the one that is too hard on him.

Oh, I am sorry.
Apparently, you should probably stop asking.
Men have different ways of expressing their feelings, Dean has his own unique style :) Be patient, progress is slow and steady. Love you all mom
Ok-so, those boots are the EXACT same ones I have been admiring online and I was ticked when they didn't have my size! And your mom cracks me up with her comment about 'progress being slow and steady' --- she is awesome! :)
