Baby Chelsie

Background Information-
1: Josie has been telling people that our new baby's name is Chelsie. She came up with it all on her own but she has really stuck with it.
2: Dean has had some mice in the barn eating his grain and such. He set a live trap at the butcher shop in town to catch some cats, to put in the barn, to eat the mice. I think he caught 6 and put two in each barn. He feeds them there so they will stay and I think they really do eat the mice. (that in it self really confuses me. Mice are not bite size compared to a cat. Do they kill them and then eat them, do they chew they up, do they just swallow them whole... I don't know and when I asked dean he said, "well if your that worried about it maybe you should talk to the cats". Anyway he was rude and the whole idea makes me want to vomit; so I digress) Anyhow two cats started coming around our house and Josie and Trig watch them from the window. Josie wanted to hold one like she does at aunt Laurel's house.  I told her they are mean and to stay away from them; they really are mean. Anyway Josie told Laurel that she has two cats and they are mean. Then she asked Laurel to get her a nice cat. Laurel will do anything for my kids.
3: I have only had one actual cat in my entire life. It was black, it had a cut off tail, I don't know if it was a boy or a girl, and I NEVER touched it. My dad did however make me feed it every night and my entire family made fun of the way I yelled, "Here kitty kitty". I didn't hate that cat, but it's safe to say I hate cats.

Laurel sent Dean a text message asking if she could really get Josie a cat. Because Dean is super into killing mice he agreed. So I introduce to you... Baby Chelsie
I geniusly suggested we name the cat Chelsie and Josie thinks its a baby so it worked perfectly.
Laurel was so nice to bring Baby Chelsie to Josie the other night. She bought her a
nice little bed, some cat food, cat treats, and cat toys. Dean put her bed in the barn right next to the grain and he is sure she is a real mouser. Josie goes out to the barn to check on Chelsie. Sometimes Chelsie lets Josie give her a strangling hug and other times she keeps her distance. Though I'm still not a cat lover I do love to watch Josie get so excited. Thanks Laurel... kind of!
Josie showing Papa her new cat. See how she is literally strangling it by the neck, she did that all night and Baby Chelsie just let her. It was funny, I loved it.

What goes around, comes around. I remember Taylor's uncle giving us a couple of "titties" once! Haha! Good for Laurel.
