Sunday afternoon at the park...
She pretty much thought the teeter-totter was the funniest thing ever.

Priorities

Last night Deans phone rang at 1:10am
(we had been asleep for at least 3.5 hours - we are so old)
It was my neighbor calling, she was apparently on her way home from the night life.
She told Dean his Bulls were on the road.
The call woke me up so I decided I might as well go help him- bad idea it was cold.
So we are driving down the driveway and I look over at Dean
He has on basketball shorts, cowboy boots, no shirt - just his g-top, and a baseball cap.
Who puts on a hat and no shirt - pretty sure his priorities are out of whack.

Laundry? Life Insurance?

Today I washed a load of Deans work clothes, as I pulled them out of the dryer I noticed this pair of pants was still really dirty so I held them up to see if it was a stain or if the washer wasn't working. Thats when I noticed this...
Then I pulled out this shirt. (The picture doesn't even do it justice, it has tares all over)
First of all why did clothes that were obviously not wearable again even go in the dirty clothes when they should have just gone strait to the garbage.
Second, why did I not hear about this incident it was clearly very painful
Third I'm really glad I have life insurance on this boy its obvious his job is dangerous

New Hair

This is real! I cut my hair, well it was kind of an accident; I told they lady I wanted my hair shorter but long enough for a pony tail.
When she was finished I said, "this is definitely not long enough to pull back". She replied "Sorry I guess I was just so hungry I wasn't paying attention". I really do like it but make sure your hair dresser isn't too hungry or you might get a surprise like me!

Josie loves our dog. Every time we go outside she says puppy, puppy over and over again.
Its one of the 4 words she knows. So I think she is pretty smart, well turns out she thinks any animal is a puppy. We went to take Dean some lunch today.
Over and over she said puppy, puppy... as she was waving her hands towards the herd of cows.

Dean Please Come Home...

Dean has been working cows today... for over 17 hours and he is still not done.

Sisters

Dean's Sisters asked me to take their pictures. Every other one Leann is doing something silly, but we still got some cute ones.Just a random one of Laurel reading to Josie. Josie has got so interested in books, she brings them to me and turns to sits on my lap (she doesn't sit through a whole story but its a start!)

Labor Day Weekend...

We didn't have any plans for Labor Day so it was weird that we ended up busy every day.
One Saturday we went to the Grays Lake Rodeo. This is just a small town event. The arena is in someones field and they start with dutch oven lunch in their back yard and then you walk across the ditch to the rodeo. It was really nice weather and a beautiful place. Dean didn't participate this year but we went to watch Blaine and he ended up winning the bareback riding so it was worth the trip. Josie had a great time and came home super dirty.

Sunday we went to grandma Sharon's for a birthday party. Maddie and Cameron both have birthdays in September. Almost the whole family was there, we had a good time.

Monday we went to Jenna's for a BBQ. The weather was a little cold but we still had fun. Josie was a good sport in the cold and loved all the attention.

Poor Craig I guess that is what you get when you the littlest brother.

She's awake...

When I went in to get Josie this morning this is how I found her singing happily to herself.
This is how the house looked after only 9 minutes. I should have left her in bed.
She really is at a fun stage. She is always making a mess but is busy and learning a lot.
