Some friend you are...

Usually I spend the whole day just me and Josie, so I was very excited to have some friends today.

Look how fun they were.

Sunday Drive

We went for a wheeler ride last night with Deans sister and her husband. It was the perfect temperature and really pretty with all the leaves changing. Its so fun to have this for a back yard.

The Babysitter

Dean was interfering with nature and went He-man on this tree

Some of the girl...

He will go, He will do the things the Lord commands...

Dean informed me again last night, as he has many times before he is only going to school because the prophet said. I informed him, "he never said it would be easy, he only said it would be worth it". So life goes on, and Dean continues to give drive here and give them a lot of money.

What once was love...

I think this may be a bad sign....

On our first date Dean carved our names in this tree. On a later date Dean carved a heart around our names and I carved the little heart by his name. Last night we went on a 4-wheeler ride to find our love was damaged. The tree fell over and Dean had to pick up the pieces and put them back together so I could take a picture. How sad... don't worry I do still really love him!

Dean

I love this man and he love his job!
He spent most of his summer places like this...

His days in this thing...

and most of his nights with this baby...But the last few weeks all day and night have been spent doing this.

And I got to see all the action because I had to take him luch everyday.

Thanks Dad...

My dad always gives me advice. When I was growing up and still to this day after many of my comments he will say something like.

"Be careful the words you speak, you never know the ones you'll eat".

Now that I'm a mom this is so true. I could go on and on about things that in just two short months I have eaten my words on but I will just name a few.

driving with my daughter not in a car seat
crying babies at church
over protective mothers
name brand diapers

and on and on... and the worst part is I know I will be eating my words for the rest of my life. I can't wait for the first time josie runs up on the stand a church like a swore my kid will never do.

the state between asleep and awake

This morning I was laying in my bed.Counting my blessings...
I have such a good husband and a cute baby. I live in a great place and I get to stay home with my girl. My baby slept 8 hours for two nights in a row!!! I'm happy being me.

Josie is getting so big. She is six weeks old and just over seven pounds. She has such a personality, and has started smiling a lot (however I can't seem to get one on camera). She is a strong little lady and is getting really good at holding her own head up. Dean thinks she is a little arrogant but don't be fooled she still has him wrapped around her finger. She is finally starting to wear real clothes instead of sleepers all the time. Thanks to JD and Catherine we have this cute little number. I was so excited to have a real outfit that actually fit her we dressed up and went out to visit our friends.

Josie had a couple of hard weeks, I'll be honest Josie and I had a couple of hard weeks. Josie was crying all day everyday. She didn't sleep or eat good, she was miserable. The Dr. gave us some acid reflex medicine and I have a NEW BABY. I'm one happy momma!

Day to day with Josie. She is adorable!

A fabulous lady in my ward offered to make Josie a Dress for her blessing. She not only made a beautiful dress but she made darling shoes and bloomers to match.

We blessed Josie September 6th, Dean did a wonderful job.

A while ago I was up rocking Josie and I finally got her to sleep. She looked so precious and I wanted to remember her little features so i took a picture. I was completely in love and didn't want her to grow up.

Side note... this is how that moment ended.

I tired to retake the saddle picture, that was obviously a bad idea.

Cousins: Josie has had a lot of love form her family. All the cousins love her, I feel bad I don't have pictures of all the cousins with her. Kaitlyn loves Josie and always wants to hold her.

Nana and Papa love when Josie comes to visit. They wanted to give Josie her first dollar. Papa said that if she becomes a millionaire she has to pay him back.
