This lady is growing up so fast. She so much happier then she used to be. We are still working on gaining weight, we have been going to a new doctor and trying some new things. She has finally passed 10 lbs. She is doing a little better in the car and is sleeping really good through the night. She has started giggling a lot, loves to bath, and loves to talk.
This is the look I get when I think it's time for bed and she obviously doesn't.

Usually Josie wakes up crying. Today after her nap I heard her talking so I went in to get her and she was having a great time. She woke up, rolled over, and was so happy. I hope this becomes a regular pattern. (She can only roll from her tummy to her back. We are still working on the other direction.)

I'm super productive or at least I have been this week. Dean helped me move everything out of the basement in our old house. He complained for a few days but finally I he did it. He didn't want it in the house because he was afraid of this.

I needed it all in the house so I could go through it. Then I needed to clean out our current basement, it is awful and its not our stuff so its an awkward situation. The mess upstairs was the perfect motivation for me to clean the downstairs.
This...

turned into this...

I asked Dean to help me with some things while cleaning out the basement, and carry the boxes down. I was really really nice because I could see him being a little bothered. We both went down stairs and I told him the plan and gave him some instructions. He looked at me and asked, "Is this really a BOY job." Instantly he knew that was the wrong thing to say. Not only is the stuff I asked him to bring down OURS, but the stuff that is in the basement presently is heavy, dirty, and HIS families. I can't think of how it could be more a BOY job. After I had explained that to him he was a VERY good helper. I did the organizing and cleaning (the GIRL job), He did the lifting and moving (the BOY job), and now we are both very glad the job is done.

Happy Birthday Dean!!!
Dean is a great Dad, he is a fabulous husband, and our very best friend. Josie and I love this boy so much. Dean got an ipod touch for his birthday, and I'm a little jealous. Not because I want one but of his attention. Now each night we read scriptures on the ipod, not because its more convenient just because he thinks it cool. Dean loves KSL classifieds I don't know why it must be a man thing, even though the pictures are bite size he browses the classifieds on the ipod instead of the computer. I complain now because he uses it to much, but in a month I will probably complain that it was expensive and he never uses it.

I started giving this little lady cereal, she loves it. I give her a bite and then she puts her hands in her mouth as fast as she can. I don't know if she just needs something more to chew on or if she is just excited. Then she takes her hands out I give her more and she does it again. I love her.

Today Dean was going to bring some cows down the hill and invited me to go with him. It was pretty warm so I decided I would take advantage of it. I had a YW in my ward stay with Josie. We had a great time.

Tonight Dean wanted to go to dinner... we decided to just stay home, hence the pictures. I took these pictures on a drive home from Utah. It seems inhuman, but after an hour of trying to comfort her I gave up and just started taking pictures. I decided I needed pictures of this not because I will ever forget it but more for proof.

Josie is sitting up in her bumbo a lot better now. She is happy whenever she thinks she is being a big lady. She is giggling a little now and still loves her hands. She is a good sleeper, but hates eating. She is still a little fussy but is so much better now. She hates church, I kind of hope she grows out of that. The car seat is still a torture for all of us.
I took her to the Dr. to get her weight checked, I cried...
No surprise I cry each and every time I go to that place, its awful.
My baby is 3 months and weighs 9.9 lbs I know its small but we are working on it.

My 2 Best Things...
My girl is 3 months old and getting so fun.
Dean and Craig took advantage of the good weather and roped one last time before winter.
This was Josie's first time on a horse

These two pictures are my favorite. I remember Leann being so little, she was in sixth grade and thought she was so cool. She would hug me every time I came over, she is such a sweetheart. She is turning into such a pretty girl and is still so sweet. She just turned 16 so we had take some pictures, doing her hair took me way longer than the actual pictures.

Happy Birthday Leann, We love you!

4 years later...

Halloween

Josie loved eating her costume more than wearing it. The girl loves texture.

On Halloween we went to see Grandma and Grandpa Richins.
Grandpa Virg loves Josie, he is so sweet, she however is not.
Josie is there 61st grand baby, so my grandma had some little onsies embroidered for her that have a little 61 on them. I wanted her to get a picture with them but she obviously didn't want to, and the sad part is you can't even see the 61.
Josie and I were lucky enough to spend a couple of days with these folks. We didn't get any pictures of Addy but she was a great host, Thanks.

I had an adult experience this weekend. Every year my Grandma Hall has a great Halloween party that I love. My stake had Stake Conference (who does that on Halloween), Dean said we needed to go; I was bothered but I went anyway, I'm mature.

More proof that Dean is a good Dad. He still doesn't do diapers but he loves this little baby.

I told Dean that we couldn't go to bed until Josie was asleep he said she could just lay by him. And then this turned into...

This.
He really was dead asleep and forgot all about parenting.
Dad's hat

I found these next two pictures on my camera. The weird part is they were obviously taken inside the bathroom at the church. Either there was too many people in this single person bathroom or Leann took these herself.

This never happens, it was a tender mercy for a mom who had enough. I needed sleep and so did she. She never sleeps on her back and never falls asleep on her own. Well except this time.
