Great Picture?

Valley Implement took a bunch a guys on a hunting trip, to tour some tractor factories, and a big feed lot. They were gone a few days and covered quite a bit of country. I told Dean to take some pictures, and this is what I got. I asked him what it was and he just said, "you would have to see it to understand it".
luckily somebody text him this picture

A Date?
Dean told me to get a babysitter so I could go with him to doctor cows. We rode through, doctored, and sorted calves for half the day. I enjoyed watching him work, but mostly I just enjoy being with him. The top picture is actually from another day but I had to add it for my dad. Dean wanted him to see the grey mares progress!

6 months

My little guy is 6 months old today. He is getting better at sitting up and today he started army crawling. He is doing pretty good and gets to most of his destinations just as his sister picks up whatever he is after and says, "Mine". He drools all the time, but is so happy that I can't be bothered. He still isn't very good at eating solids, I hope he isn't going to have texture issues too. He loves attention from Josie and his dad. He is a good boy and we love having him around! I can't believe 6 months has gone so fast.

Teenage Mom?

Teenagers are hard. Maddie came to stay with me for a couple days after a boy from Grace took her to his dance. She is so fun and so helpful. I did however get a little taste of all the drama of a 16 year old. We took Marie with us to Preston and they talked of Drama. I took Maddie to church...more boy Drama. I love to visit with her, she told me about friend drama and boyfriend drama and homework drama. I didn't have her sleep downstairs in fear she would be scared and that would add more drama to her life. Look at the picture even her makeshift bedroom is a mess, she is such a teenager. I loved having Maddie all to myself for a few days, she is getting so old, so pretty, so boy crazy, and so dramatic. She is still sweet and I love to be with her.

Just because he is adorable!

I went to the SLC temple with my brothers and sisters. (JD and Catherine had prior plans and Dean went to the hospital with his grandpa to visit nana.) We had a nice time, it was so beautiful inside. We went to dinner afterwards and had a good time visiting.

My nephew Mackay left for his mission this week. He is going to Little Rock, Arkansa Spanish Speaking. I can't believe he is so old. I'm so excited for him and the people he is going to teach. He is so outgoing and is going to be a great missionary!

Doug said it hurt...

I was having some serious pain, so I did what any normal person would do... I googled my symptoms. I was pretty sure I was just going to die but google said this pain was just gall stones. I waited until I had 3 more attacks and was way closer to death before I finally went to the Dr. They gave me an ultrasound and decided to operate. My fabulous sisters took care of me and my babies, it was like I was on vacation, a very painful painful vacation. I thought I would be able to bounce right back but turns out when you loose an organ it really hurts.
Here is the kicker... Dean was relatively nice to me. I told him when I was in pain and he didn't care, he didn't make fun of me but he didn't care. He gave me a blessing, he drove me to and from surgery but we really didn't talk much about the pain, the procedure, or the recovery. When I finally came home he says, "Hey I talked to Doug (that's his friend) He says that what you did is really painful, I mean he said it was like a really big deal and when he had attacks and got surgery it was really bad. Like he really felt bad for you, I guess its a big deal - he made a big deal about it, you know like it was painful even for him". O really so now that Doug tells you its painful you have sympathy for me - so sweet

Hey Buddy

I was folding laundry on my bed the other night listening to Josie play with her brother. She was giggling saying "Hey buddy" over and over. I snuck around the corner to watch them play and thats when I caught her. She had Trig trapped. She was talking to him through the holes in the basket. Poor boy he falls victim to all her good ideas but soon he will be able to fight back and then she better watch out.

"Broke Mom"

I got brave, and cut Josie's binkies. Truly she still had a binky because I was too afraid to let them go. I'll be honest I loved everything about Josie having a binky. She slept good, she rode in the car relatively well with a binky, she went to nursey with no problem when she had one, and I bought her cute ones.
I told her that she was a big girl and that her binkies broke, then she went to get some more and I cut them too... So we made a necklace. She wore it for the entire day and every once in a while said, "Broke Mom" and did a little fake cry. At night she goes to bed good, but we have been struggling at nap time... she stays in her crib and sings but doesn't fall asleep. I'm not sure how to fix that, I let her stay in there for over two hours two days in a row and still no nap?
Josie showed brother here broken binkies, she even let him wear her necklace.
The Whites came over for Confrence. I'm sure they had a really good time:)
Our kids have really good dads
I love that Rio is fishing in heels
