Preston Famous Night Rodeo

We let the kids ride sheep at the Preston Rodeo I thought Josie had it won for a minute but the last kid went further. Trig had some bad luck, he held on but a ways down the arena his sheep fell and rolled on him. When he came back to his seat his face was bloody. Before I could ask Josie said, "Mom you know that thing that holds you lip on? Trig's fell off". She was right Trig had torn his fraenula. It was bleeding like crazy but rather painless and harmless. He was more upset his sheep fell down.

SOME OF JULY

My cute friend asked me to help her make a float for our fair. The theme was "Some Fair" so we made a "Some Kids" float. We won first place at the kids parade and another first place at the real parade. We made $35 in prize money and considering everything on our float was free but the green grass we made money.
Quincy loved all the parades we've been going to lately. She  can almost eat the candy as fast as they can throw it.
For a while now Quincy had been thinking that when her eyes are closed I can't see her and It is my favorite thing. because she is such a tease she uses this frequently and I always go along with it because it cracks me up.
Driving to piano one day I saw these little workers and it made me smile!
Quincy is starting to play with the big kids and its so fun to watch. Josie is such a great sister too!
Here is a princess with Impetigo on her chin, sunscreen in her hair, and the greatest makeup job ever!
I snapped this walking into church, they are the best!
pretty much this is how he wakes me up every day

Today we had to run Dean to his truck and we stopped at the park, in our PJ's. Quincy learned to blow dandelions, while the other two teeter tottered and it was perfect!
Josie drew this picture of our yard, she even drew the quonset.
Incase you wandered it is completely possible to eat an entire yogurt in Walmart without a spoon.

Quincy's first horse show.

She is obviously to young to show a horse but this was my favorite show so far. She has been so interested in riding lately and loves to ride by herself. She felt like such big business with the number on her back. She was so cute and excited that everyone cheered as she walked around and she couldn't have been happier with her trophy, she is so fun when she isn't screaming.

Josie turns 6

Josie had a very busy 6th birthday. She was excited to get a package from Grandma Sharon with a bonnet and some money to send her doll to the doctor. Grandma Fox came up in the morning and gave her a present too. She was so excited to finally get her mermaid tale. They had a million cute ones to choose from and Josie chose rainbow. We were also lucky enough to get to try it out at this really awesome pond in Niter. She hugged me before bed and said, "thanks mom for my awesome birthday".

Queening

Josie did the queen contest for Plain City. It was exciting to get her and her outfit ready at first and then it became and huge chore. I was glad we did it once and kind of thought that was it but she is determined to do it again. I'm torn because its so pointless but it is the only thing she has shown real interest in besides piano. Because we already had everything we decided to put her in the contest in Bancroft too. It was a entirely different caliber, I'm sure she was the only one with a washed horse. She was the youngest by far in her age group and ended up again second attendant.
I feel so bad we didn't get a picture of all four girls together. Taylor, Kaitlyn, Hannah, and Josie all competed and look so cute.
These cowboys were so supportive, we sure love these boys!
She had a ride in parades in Plain City on the 4th, McCammon for their founders day, and Bancroft on the 24th. She loved it and is always talking about her next parade... and she has all her outfits planned for the next several years.

Summer BBQ

We have some super fun friends and tonight we had a super fun BBQ. We met at Dean's pond and ate dinner, fished, shot guns, and roasted smores. We were worried for a minute the weather wasn't going to cooperate but the clouds passed and it ended up being a great time.
