Happy Birthday Adds...
Grandma, Josie, and I headed down to see Addy on her birthday. We had a good visit, a great lunch, and some birthday cake. It was a great time.

Farmer of the Year...
Deans' dad was awarded Farmer of the Year. He was awarded a plaque and made the front page of the newspaper. Congratulations Lawrence.

I had fun with this girl...
Maddie stayed home from school on Friday because she was tired (how is wish that excuse would have worked for me when I was in Jr High). I'm sure glad she did because I had a lot of fun with her. Ang, Maddie, Josie, and I went to lunch and then Maddie and I went shopping for way too long. She was sooo funny and was saying the funniest stuff. Maddie is such a sweet girl and I had so much fun with her. Thanks Maddie for playing with me and helping with Jos. Love You!

I hate tiny little dogs but their clothes fascinate me, so embarrassingly enough and against
Maddie's will I bought this $1 St. Patrick's Day shirt for her bunny.

Grandpa...
I love to see my dad play with Josie. He really is cute with all the grandkids he just doesn't like to let us document it so I'm glad Grandma got a picture. Thanks for letting us stay over, well be back soon! Mostly likely quite a bit sooner than you hope...

Josie only looks sad because she stole grandpas toothpick in which she was quite pleased
with herself, but then she did inevitably poke herself and she was not so pleased.

Some of January...
Dean broke the baby just like he said he would. He named him rEgGie.
He thinks he is a really good horse and doesn't really want to sell him anymore...
...surprise surprise.

So In Love...
I have been so in love with this lady lately. I'm not sure if its beceause we are together all day everyday in such a confined area or if it's just because she is getting so funny. She is on her third cold this winter, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but she has been sick a lot lately. She is doing better at sitting on her own and loves to stand. Everyday I think she is teething and shes not but one of these days I will be right. She is so vocal, she talks all day long and when I need her to be quite she yells (during sacrament for example). When Dean and I are talking she gets louder and louder until we turn and give her some attention or my favorite a binky. She loves to eat graham crackers and is still doing pretty good with baby food. I started her back on milk based formula that has partially broken down protein so its easier on her tummy. She still doesn't eat as much as the doctor would like but she is growing and happy. She will be 6 months next week so we will see what her stats are. For now I just love her and I love seeing her experience new things. I can't wait for summer I'm going to introduce her to the outdoors.
Finally some snow... a lot of snow!
It has been snowing for 3 days. Dean was worried there wouldn't be enough water this spring because we didn't have very much snow, well that's what he said anyway; really I think he was just bummed there wasn't enough to go snowmobiling. Both those problems were fixed this weekend. Leann had a party at our house this weekend and every car that attempted our driveway got stuck (Dean plowed the driveway really good) I suppose we should reroute it but then we wouldn't have this great sledding louge.
Notice the dogs... only in Idaho does your cow dog play in the snow with you.
Blue will ride on a snow machine just like a 4-wheeler.

What a Disaster...
We just remodeled our house in June and again last week! We had an old oil furnace that vented through the chimney, apparently that is against more than one safety code. The ashes from the chimney backed up into the furnace and filled our house with carbon monoxide and a whole lot of soot. Their was a gray film on every surface of my house. My insurance paid me to clean it up and they replaced what didn't come clean.
My Wonderful family came up and helped me wash all the walls and clean everything. We painted what wouldn't come clean and the day after they left the carpet guy came and replaced the carpet.

Leann and Lacey weren't very much help but they were fun and they did do a great job modeling the effect the old carpet had on a good pair of socks.

Addy was an awesome motivator and worked quickly. Maddie made a good sidekick!

My mom was a trooper she stayed the longest and worked really hard. She washed and ironed all the curtains, tended the baby, cleaned, and was good company. She was really good to me.

Angela meticulously made the door look wonderful. I'm not entirety sure the head lamp was necessary but it was on top of the fridge so naturally you would need to put it on. The sun glasses may not have been the most effective but she needed something to protect her eyes from the drill flipping paint in them.

Mike Put in this new furnace for me. THANKS MIKE!!! You can see the beast that started it all needed to go, it was huge and so dirty.

I tired to take pictures but they don't really do the mess justice.

Emilee and Maddie came up again the following weekend but I didn't get any pictures. She helped me make a lot of really good meals and gave me a lot of recipe ideas. She wasn't impressed with my lack of spices, so I will have to work on that if I ever want to cook as amazing as she does. Don't worry she left me some of hers so at least a have a small start. Thanks Em!

#27-Tonight Dean made me walk out to the barn in the freezing cold to meet his winter project. Dean assured me this little baby will be broke by the time it warms up. He gets a little stir crazy in the winter so he traded for this little money maker. I assured him that we didn't need another horse, but its obvious I didn't win. He won't let me name him because he isn't going to be around long enough to get attached. Just a baby to break and make some money; perhaps with his earnings he will take my on a cruise, don't worry I wont hold my breath.

Lunch-
Before Christmas a few of the girls got together for literally a last minute lunch. It was so fun to see them, even if it was only for a little while.

Josie has been so fun this past week. She has grown up a lot. She is rolling over both ways, giggling, yelling, and talking non stop. She has started using her high chair and really loves being a big lady. I'm so in love with her!
