Winter Series

Dean won the winter series ranch rodeo this winter. He enjoyed going on Saturday nights and was good to let the kids and I go ride with him before it started. I took a bunch of pictures one night and they were all blurry I was so sad. I had dropped my camera but later took it to a shop and was greatful that it was just a quick fix.

Tremonton ranch roping

CJ is so sweet to Quincy these pictures just cracked me up
Quincy always has to do what the big kids do.
We followed Dean to a ranch roping in Tremonton and my dad and Casey came up to meet us. Dean's team didn't do any good but I still had fun watching them.
 Quincer loves grandpa bruce
They were such good sports for a long day.

Random January

They fight but when they don't they are sure best friends. Its been fun to see Quincy start to play with them.
Dean doesn't enjoy playing games but he does like UNO and he plays with these two a lot. They have started to beat him pretty regularly.
Josie sporting her american girl doll glasses
Josie is still taking gymnastics and doing so well. She has really improved.
Quincy is getting so independent she wants to do everything the big kids do. She sits in a big chair and wont let me help her eat. She knows if she doesn't get the same food, bowl, or even throws a fit if she doesn't get the same amount as the big kids. and she will not stay out of the fridge.
We are loving 11 o'clock church, it makes our mornings a little less stressful
Dean and KC moving the entire hay stack to Jacks
We didn't have a very good winter so instead of eating snow, Josie resorted to dirty ice.

Alice Lake / Happy Birthday Addy

For the last several years when Dean goes to Alice Lake the kids and I have been going to stay with Addy. This year we only went down for the day but it was an awesome day! Grandma Great and my mom went with us and the weather was beautiful. We had a nice visit and mom stayed to watch the kids while granny, Addy, and I went to Olive garden for Addy's birthday lunch. When we got back the kids played outside in the sunshine! I asked Dean to take some pictures of his trip so I could better understand the things he tells me about it. It is really impressive the way they get hot water and have built a functioning cabin with no power. He also took a lot of pictures of snowy mountains so he could show me more about their rides.

Quincy's first ride alone

Sara (the horse) stayed the winter at my parents and on one of our visits my dad saddled her up to let Trig ride. I put Quincy on with Trig and then let Quincy ride alone. She loved it and did so good. She held onto the reigns and Yelled "YA YA" over and over. we went in a bunch of circles until Quincy lost her balance and fell off but I'm still counting it as a win.

Shopping

I could just freeze her this size. It took us 45 minutes to get 5 minutes worth of groceries but She was just so pleased I couldn't hurry her along.

Cupcakes

We made cupcakes and Quincy had a hard time getting any frosting on her cupcake for the detour to her mouth and Trig had a great time with the sprinkles.

Ranch Roping

Dean has been taking the kids and I with him to a Ranch Roping on Saturday nights. We go early so the kids can ride around were its a little bit warmer. I sure love this little family of mine.
I always drive separate so I can take the kids home before the roping starts. We were driving home last Saturday and Trig said, "Mom tomorrow I will be a Ninja Turtle because we don't rope cows on Sunday Right Mom?" It just melted me, I wish I could just bottle him and his little voice up so I wont ever forget it.
