When I was in high school my brother used to say, "y-o-u-r m-y s-i-s-t-e-r" really slow when he was making fun of me. But this is true I really am proud of this sister, she accomplished something amazing. I was lucky enough to participate in her senior project (thanks to a very kind neighbor that completely took over RS night so I could go). Emilee did an Awesome senior project, she put on an interactive Nutrition Workshop for families in the community focusing on nutrition and exercises for children ages 2-5. She and her group did SOOO much work. They partnered with the Tree house Museum, IHC, and others; and applied for grants. They rallied for donations from many local businesses and put together a great show. It was free to enter and there was a raffle with tons of wonderful prizes which I was lucky enough to win a few things myself. The kids had a wonderful time and I was just amazed at how much effort went into this. She is such a good student and really puts her whole heart and mind into the things she does and it shows.
We started out at Emilee's workshop where you could play nutrition games, eat healthy snacks, learn about portion control, and read cute children books on all things healthy.
Trig enjoyed his healthy snack so much he ate it all in one bite.
There was a dental Hygienist station where you could get your teeth checked. Josie was mortified, she told the lady she didn't have any teeth while she was crying covering her mouth.
These two little helpers made my job real easy bustling through the crowded tree house!
I love this picture of Taylor and Josie, Taylor is barley lifting her off the ground but Josie enjoys every minute she gets to spend with Taylor, O and they both just love dolls. The next picture is the learning exercise games for all ages.
Gracie was so sweet to haul this heavy boy around and play with him.
They had so many awesome stations I can't even do it justice. My kids loved playing there and I enjoyed all the great information.
For a few seconds seeing all that Emilee has accomplished almost made me wish I had put more effort into my degree, almost and only for a few seconds. I'm always telling her that C's get degrees, thats how I finished. She never agrees with me and she never gets B's let alone C's and its clearly obvious in her work.

Thanks for coming...It was nice to have someone who was able to experience everything and then report to me. Unfortunately, I had to stay put :(
(& thanks for your sweet post)
I probably should give credit to my classmates. It took a total of three of us to make it all come together even though there were actually five in the group.
Looks like it was a great success. Thanks for your support Lindsey. love mom
You got some awesome shots! Such a fun night! We all had a great time, and Emilee did a wonderful job.
