Bruce Hall Family Reunion 2013

My mom reserved a cabin at Bear Lake. It was awesome. They kids where all enjoyable and everyone got along. The cabin was the huge and had great gathering space. Great food every meal, I think the whole think went along without a hitch. It was so fun and made it nice that everyone stayed the whole time. We missed JD's family, they were busy finishing their house so they can move in soon. As I started posting pictures I found that they mostly speak for themselves, not much explanation is necessary.
We had a little birthday party for Josie while we were there.
These 5 always seem to be sitting around together somewhere
We built a sand castle that everyone helped with. It turned out awesome but now I think we have a little better idea how to improve it for next year.

Alyson made snow cones, Dean is still talking about how good they were. The boys had a pool competition; while some girls had a coloring competition.
The cabin yard was connected to the golf course so that gave us a great area for games.
The last day at the beach was a little cold. My dad rented a wave runner, it was so fun. I  couldn't believe how much I loved it. The bad weather made the perfect riding conditions. Thanks Mom and Dad we had a Great time!

Unemployed

You could call me unemployed but if you did I would slap you.

Before I became a mom I would not even say the word poop. But today not only did I say it, and had a little talk about it with a wild two year old; but I cleaned it up off my front steps.

The boy is completely potty trained. I can honestly say that because he was smart enough to take off his clothes before he pooped. He quite obviously just decided it would be a lot easier to do it outside than walk ALL the way in the house.

I made him sit on the toilet while I was running around cleaning everything. When I came back to tell him he could get off he said, "Me go potty mom, me have a treat please, me ask you nicely". It was one of those times I had to turn my head to hide my smile so he couldn't see. Even when I'm so frustrated with him he just gets me and I'm glad I get to stay home with my littles. O I love that boy, but some days I think it would be easier to have a day job.

This picture above has nothing to do with this story but it is an interesting fact. Earlier today Trig found a bag a beef jerky. He ate so much, he didn't want me to take it away from him. I told my sister over the phone and she said 'you better get it from him he is going to be constipated'. Well that clearly wasn't the case.

another day at the lake

I never get tired of Bear Lake pictures.
This is Leann's attempt to fry her back side as bad as she fried her front side, mission accomplished; I bet she cried herself to sleep.
Cole left his truck and Trig was so happy about it!
Quincy was so good while we were there. She is going to love it as much as me.
These two crazies had just been to the Kenny Chesney concert the night before and they were feeling like rock stars, hence the weird pose.
I told my car load I would buy them dinner if we could drive 30 minutes out of the way on our drive home to get a tractor part for Dean. They said yes, but they were all asleep 8 minutes into the drive anyway. Well accept for Quincy Heaven forbid she EVER sleep in the car, she cried the whole way. It was still worth a day at the lake.
