We love you Nana

Dean's Nana passed away this last week. We were so lucky to be able to spend the last couple days with her. Dean gave Nan and Papa both a blessing and the spirit was so strong. I was so happy I could be there when she and Papa exchanged such tender words and with Janale to give her little sips of Dr. Pepper. I'm so happy she was able to pass and be free from pain surrounded by her grandkids; they love her so much. For as long as I've known Laurel she has taken such good care of Nana, she was so sweet to see that all her needs were met to the very last second. She is amazing!

Nan was so sweet, she loved her grand kids but I'm pretty sure she loved her great grand kids more. She was always so excited when we brought the babies over. She even perked up in the hospital the last time she got to hold their little hands.
In the last four years Dean and I have lost 4 Grandparents. We are so blessed to have such sweet people looking out for us from above.

Dean loved his Nana, when he was little he would stay with them over family vacations to Disneyland. I loved her personality, she was always scurrying around busying herself. It always amazed me how she loved to watch sports. My favorite thing was when Papa would say a smart mouth remark and she would give him a good jab right back, it always made me smile.
When we took Josie to see Nana on Halloween she didn't believe it was Josie in that chicken costume. She loved it and then talked about it every time we visited for 6 months.
Nana was so on top of it she had her entire funeral planned and paid for. She had her casket picked out and her obituary written. The services where so nice and it was a perfect way to remember a great lady!

Utah for two weeks???

Dean called me one afternoon and told me he was on his way to Nevada and wasn't sure when he would be home. His grandma was in the hospital so he told me to take the kids to see her... That is where this extensive journey began. We went to be with Nana and had some sweet memories with her. Then the list goes on and on... baby shower, rodeo, Sunday family dinner, funeral, Thanksgiving, tree house, game night, shopping, Christmas party, family pictures... and so much more. We had a good time but I was soo ready to be home; I did however enjoy having a dishwasher!

Tree House

The day after Thanksgiving we went to the Tree House with Whites and Renos. They wouldn't let us take strollers in so that was frustrating with babies. Josie had the most fun driving the tractor(it really was a fire truck). We went to Sonora Grill for lunch and came home to take a great nap.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We ate with the Whites and the Fox Family at my moms house in Plain City. It was so nice to have a house fully equipped for a big crowd. The weather was beautiful and we ate, played outside, slept, and shopped all the ads!

Shipping Cows 2011

Year after year my pictures repeat themselves. They are all pretty much the same from one branding to the next. Shipping and pregging its all the same however I keep taking pictures of it. Today Dean shipped the babies. I love when they are gone it give me less anziety, I don't even know why I worry about it I have nothing to do with it however year after year I'm glad to see them go.

Today while I was getting ready and thinking about how year after year Dean does the same thing it occoured to me that he never complains about working. Never. He never says O I wish I didn't have to go to work today. I remember my first year of teaching I would lay in bed just a little while longer hoping that the school would call and say it was a snow day and I deifently remember wishing I didn't have to go to work somedays. I'm so glad he is a hard worker but I'm mostly glad he loves his job. He amazes me and he is cute.

Dean's Birthday

I wanted to take Josie Bowling, so for Dean's birthday we went to Poky to get boots, dinner and go bowling. I'm not entirely sure Dean enjoyed himself but I'm positive Josie did. She loves bowling, she was all over the place.
Secretly I'm taking it upon myself to be this couples wedding video photographer. I'm not even sure they know but I have hopes for them.

I Broke the Microwave

Last night our microwave gave out. I went to town to get a new one today. Dean set it up and got rid of the old one. I went over to set the clock on it. Then Dean, completely serious, in an 'aha' moment voice said, "I know why the old on broke... because you ran it so much when there was noting in it."

WHAT? WHY WOULD I EVEN DO THAT?

Teething?

We have been going through a lot of Tylenol around here

She is finally tall enough to reach the spoons.
He is crawling everwhere - Sometimes right out of his diaper.
Why are they never dressed?

Not a super good picture but Craig killed this huge deer and I think Dean was the most excited about it. Dean talked about it for days and is still talking about it. Craig is way cool!

We named Trig after Trigger because we love him so much and they have the exact same birthday! Now that our boy is a little older they have the same hair cut and I'm pretty sure they even have the same ears. We drove to Ogden for Halloween and grandpa Trigger made it SO worth it. He was delighted to have a little Trigger in the house, he couldn't have given me a better reaction. Though his mustache doesn't turn up quite as much as it used to and his belt got a little too big I think they still make a pretty cute pair. I hope this boys grows up to be as good of grandpa to his grand kids as Trigger has been to Dean. We sure love them both.
