The Creek

I had to make an invitation for the ward party so Dean took the kids on a four-wheeler ride. Josie ran in the house an hour later yelling for her swimming suit. She scurried around until she found it and put it on.
On their ride she had Dean stop at the creek they drove through so she could wade in it. She told Dean to drive her home so She could get her swimming suit (she is very by the book and wouldn't dream of getting her clothes wet, however; when Trig walked inside he was completely soaked and covered in mud. They are total opposites).
Needless to say we all got back on the four-wheeler and drove back to the creek.

Josie is back there in the grass, she wasn't afraid of a little adventure.

Dean looked at me and said, "to bad you wasted the gas driving to the lake they could have been playing here all along".
