When Dean and I were dating he tried to explain to me how cool the Caribou County Fair and Rodeo was. I teased him a little for loving his county fair SO much but now the tables have turned. He doesn't mind getting a burger and doing the Team Branding but I'm the one that loves all the action. I got him to take us the the Little Buckaroo Rodeo Tuesday night. We didn't enter our kids but had lots of friends performing.
Wednesday was kids day. It started with a parade and Grandma Fox was in it.
Kids day had some fun stuff for kids but I spent all of two hours waiting in line for this clown the paint a small rainbow on Josie's cheek. I wish so bad my phone camera would have zoomed in on her glitter mustache or that I had some way to record her accent; I'm 99% sure she was faking it.
Friday Dean team branded. He won a check that almost covered all his entry fees so I'm counting it a success.
Ang was so nice to sit and watch with me. She watched the kids while I took pictures. She gave Trig cotton candy and he loved it.
Jake bought a marshmallow gun and ran around under the bleachers, I'm pretty sure he had a good time.
The kids were so good to let Ang and I look around the display buildings so we let them play at the carnival. By carnival I mean a few blow up toys and this little swing set. Only in my town would they have a swing powered solely by fans and then charge $1 per ride. I know good engineering when I see it so I gladly paid the dollar.

Love the Caribou County Fair! My mom was born and raised in Grace so we went every year! When we got old enough we'd show some of our grandpa's calves. Good times, good times.
