"I want a sandwich without any dinner on it".
After some questioning I found out that this is just another way to ask for a piece of bread.
I gave her the bread, she ate it all but the crust. She put the crust in my hand and said, "I don't like the wood mommy".
I guess if I forget to teach her words like 'crust' she will just find another way to explain it.

Well, she is very resourceful. She knows what she wants and she knows how to work the system.

Josie, I don't care for the wood on my sammiches very much either, but I surely like some dinner on my sammich.
