When you first have kids you want to take them everywhere and you just know they will love it. Like when you think you should take your kid to see Santa and they are scared out of their mind, screaming bloody murder - that's not good parenting. Or when you just know your new baby would just love to go swimming - and they are wet, sunburned, freezing and would rather be taking a nap - that's also not good parenting. Or when you take them to Baby Animal Days even though...
They will miss a nap and be just a little whinny. The weather isn't great so they will be just a little cold. Your husband is sick so he won't be to enthusiastic about anything. They will be way more interested in the train than any animal.
I could go on and on; but the point is sometimes it's too hard to wait.
That is how Baby Animal Days was for me. I just knew Josie would love it, so I took her. It was an okay experience but one that could have waited just one more year.
I had to hold all the baby animals so that she would pet them; then and there I remembered I like animals I just DON'T like to touch them; but like any wonderful parent trying to force a good time on their child there I was kneeling in a pig pen holding the worlds most disgusting animal so my daughter could poke it. It almost made it worth it when she covered her mouth with both hands and said, "baby pig make me nervous". Or when we were walking and she asked to hold a baby elephant.
O well overall we had a fine time and I learned a lesson I have learned over and over, once again.

That made me laugh so hard that Steve needed to know what I was looking at. So awesome that you took that picture of the beauty queen. I will show Rachel first thing in the morning. She will be so impressed. (She is into taking pictures of odd/unique/funny people. One day I lost her at the grocery store and found her stalking some really tall guy, trying to get a good picture of him.)
That picture is SUPER disturbing....is she from tremonton did you happen to ask?
