Random

I love a good time but some of my favorite days this summer have been the ones when we haven't had any plans.
We like to take lunch or drinks to Dean, play games, the piano, try on shoes, dance, mow the lawn, play outside and practice walking.
Trig tears the house apart and Josie goes in and out a 100 times a day to play in her play house.
Today she came in and asked for a paper towel because she spilled her drink. I went out to investigate because she didn't have a drink. Sure enough she had spilled her drink- the bottled water she had gotten herself from the garage. Later she marched in and told me that she needed an umbrella for her baby so she didn't get a sunburn. She said to buy it for her from the lady at the grocery store. Then she showed me the imaginary lady under the tramp at the imaginary grocery store. So I bought an imaginary umbrella with imaginary money and Josie was delighted.
Dean came in yesterday and asked us to come outside to watch him shoe the horses. (I'm pretty sure he was just trying to count it as quality family time so I couldn't make him feel bad for never being home because right after he was done he left to go roping). Anyway when Josie saw that he had on his spurs she immediantly needed hers on. "get my shaker things mom, I need my shaker things for my boots". And then she needed her rope for branding.
Trig is so busy. He is getting really funny and is a total tease. He loves to do things he is not supposed to do but he wants you to watch him. I guess you could say he likes a reaction. He throws fits that make me laugh and then he ends up laughing. He still isn't walking more thatn a few steps but I know he could if her wanted to. He melts my heart and I love him so so much!
Josie is really getting independenta and OCD. She always needs her clothes to match and she has to pick them out. Then she needs her plate and cup to match her outfit when she eats. She likes to do everything by herself. Yesterday she stared making her own sandwiches. (she just folds a piece of bread in half and calls it a sandwhich). But she has eaten three in the last two days which is amazing because she wouldn't even eat bread before.
This poor dog goes on lots of walks and sometimes when he can't keep up he just gets dragged on his side. anyway I'm not sure of the behavior but he got put in time out and had to go to his kennel. She tied him up so he defiently couldn't get out. (I promise I'm not abusive but I'm afraid she might be).
