Lately

Baby Morely's 7:00 am Birthday Party

Right when Josie got up she told us it was her doll "Baby Morley" birthday. She then spent the next hour getting grocery shopping and preparing. Baby Morley even got a cupcake candle to blow out. It was so funny to see the things she thought needed to be at the party, like 1/2 of a chicken for example.
Josie spent a little over an hour washing dishes while I worked with one of the students I tutor. She had an excellent time but was really bothered when I put her clean dishes back in the sink to really be washed.
We got to tend the REAL baby Morely. It was so funny to watch Trig. He could not have loved it any more. He wouldn't leave her alone, he just kept bouncing on his knees and laughing.

Josie on the other hand was not near as excited as I thought she would be. She just wanted to get in Morley's chair, and force toys on Morely that she didn't want.
Dean read me this thing the other day that was in a magazine. It was just a funny little write up about why they only have cowboy poetry and not farmer poetry. The guy said when a cowboy gets hurt its always funny but when you make a farmer mad there is nothing funny to say. That proved true
this week for Dean. He has had a rough week. nothing seems to be going right. One example; he had 6 tires go out in two days on various equipment and I'm here to say its not funny when a farmer gets mad.
I finished up this week with all my tutoring students and I also finished Dean's school. So I'm officially out for the summer. I'm really excited about it and next semester Dean has another Math class that he has to do ALL by himself- Bonus.

This little man is a climber. He is all over the place. He is getting more teeth and has been pretty sad about it. I'm really nervous that he is going to be mean. He steals stuff from Josie and then crawls away with it as fast as he can. He and Dean are always wrestling and Josie better watch out because he is going to clock her soon.
Josie and I painted the picnic table, it was fun to watch her concentrate on her work.
Andrea invited us to go swimming at Lava. It was the first time Josie was really brave swimming. It made me excited for the summer.

Yesterday we were at the library and I heard Josie say, "Hey guy were my mom at". He didn't respond fast enough so she said again, "Heeey Guuuy  were my mom aaat".

Today while Josie was in time out she said, "mom member Leann 4wheeler out gas in driveway, that way funny mom, mom laugh that way funny, laugh mom" - then she just covered her mouth and had a real good laugh herself.
