I took the kids to Bear Lake for the day with some of my girl friends. My kids are not old enough to appreciate what a great time we had but I sure did. We had a great time playing in the sand and water and just visiting. When we went to leave I had a dead battery (apparently you should not leave the key on after rolling down the windows), but found a little old man to jump it for me. It was magical when my kids slept the whole way home until Josie woke up and puked all over herself, gross I know but very true.
While I was unloading the car and cleaning up our stuff Josie entertained herself by eating the ice I threw out of the cooler. She would feed one piece to blue and then have one for herself. Her hands and face were covered in dirt, apparently the ice wasn't as clean as she thought. This is one of the things I would have seen another mom do and been disgusted but in reality and now that I'm the mom I was just glad she was entertaining herself.
Sometimes Dean says Josie's hair looks like "Crusty the Clown" but I think its a bit more like "Joe Dirt" today!
