Families are Forever

I was so happy to be part of Amy's special day. I cried when she called and told me that she and her family were going through the temple. Amy and I have been friends for a long time and she has taught me so many things I wouldn't have ever known with out her. I remember her baptism day more detailed than my own. We have been together through all the big things and she is such a pleasant and special friend to me. I admire her so much, she is strong and independent, she rolls with punches and moves on. I have loved watching her testimony grow through the years. Its also been fun to have my parents there with us. I remember my dad talking to Amy and I about the plan of salvation when her dad passed away. They were their at her baptism, my mom came to the Kenna's baby shower with us, and they even drove us clear to Vegas for her wedding. I was happy they came to support her again on her most special day.
I got to take a few pictures of Kat for her up coming baptism.
This day was extra exciting for me because it was the first time I had been in the Ogden temple since it reopened. They are all beautiful but this one is unbelievable.
We had to rush back to Idaho after the luncheon because Josie had spent the day at Princess school and we were excited to see her in the Homecoming Parade. She loved every second of Princess school where they had a tea party, learned how princesses, sit, blow a kiss, curtsy, a parade routine and then of course they got to meet the princesses and have a sing-a-long. She was in love.
Grandma sent us home with some tiny cookies perfect for a tea party and the kids were so excited we had to do that bright and early the next morning.
