Caribou County Fair and Rodeo!

When we were dating Dean tried to explain to me just how cool the Caribou County Fair and Rodeo really was. Now that I live here I can enjoy it for myself. The fair is fun but I think the most exciting part is that everyone comes to it. Maddie, Angela and her kids, Laurel, and Jenna all came and stayed in Thatcher. We all had a busy week.

The Ballard's brought some friends to keep them busy. Gretchen stayed home with granny and grandpa Bruce so Dean wouldn't tease her.

Monday night Dean roped at the fair and brought home some money, so thats always good.

Tuesday Jake did mutton bustin at the Youth Rodeo he did awesome and looked so cute.

Wednesday the kids rode their bikes in the kids parade and we watched Leann and Craig dance under the big tent. That night we went to the PRCA rodeo and left the kids at home with a babysitter, so fun.

Thursday we did toes and hair. Ang had to go home to work and I had to take Josie to the Doctor. Maddie went to the rodeo with her friends and Dean and I stayed home and watched Kason so Jenna could go to the Rodeo.

Maddie was a great model.

The kids did a pretty good job of entertaining themselves. They kept accidentally riding their bike through a mud puddle so they just had to continuously wash their bikes.

Little Kason is so sweet and between Dean teasing him and Josie beating him up he is going to hate our house.

Friday Dean was at the fair grounds team branding while the rest of us went swimming at the volcano pond and a little in the back yard. Josie wasn't super happy but everyone else had fun. Next we had a birthday party for Jos with the Fox family (she threw up at this one too). That night we were back at the fair watching Craig wrestle a pig. Craig and his friends let me paint their faces to complete their costume, they won second place with for the best costume and second place for the fastest pig wrestling.

Saturday I had to help with registration for the Open Horse Show. So we took a horse over for Leann to show. We worked with her all week and got her and horse ready. I realized how much I took my dad for granted getting me ready for all my horse shows, it was a lot of work. Dean and my dad were good to help her Saturday and she did awesome!!!
