TheGirl...
Josie is finally getting some teeth, she has two coming in on the bottom. She is getting so smart and I'm really enjoying her lately. She is busy and getting into everything, but has such a fun personality. She is good to entertain herself, she covers a lot of terrain. Pretty much my entire house is baby proof from my waist down. She usually goes around and around like she is really on a mission working hard she drags her toys all over the house and then goes back and gets them and moves them to another place. I love her.
She is such a Daddy's girl, she knows exactly how to work him. He can get her to laugh so hard and when ever he tries to take a nap she climbs right in his face. She starts to cry every time he leaves the house so he comes back and gets her, he doesn't take her for long but out to see the horses or dogs and then he brings her back and sneaks out. You think it would be hard on my self esteem but I actually really enjoy it, if only he would take her all day.

Josie and I went to Addy's for a few days, Angela and her kids joined us for a while too. here is the weird part - I made Dean food for the week, all he had to do was heat it up. Side note -We have a boy that stays with us all summer long (his name is Jed he is adorable I will get a picture soon). When I got home there was a sink full of dirty dishes however it didn't seem like enough dirty dishes, the thought didn't cross my mind that Dean washed any. I automatically assumed one of two things Dean ate out a lot or he didn't feed Jed. When he got home I questioned him NO he had not eaten out, and YES he did feed Jed. I didn't even have to ask I knew he hadn't washed any dishes. When Jed came in a asked him if he wanted something to eat he said that would be great. He was at the table eating A LOT no surprise he always eats a lot. So I took the opportunity to ask him what the deal was. He told me he was glad I was home he had only eaten 4 times science I left (I left 12 meals earlier) the poor boy only ate 4 of 12 meals. I asked Dean about it and he replied "Jed's a big boy he can feed himself". I tried to explain to him it was probably weird just to get in our fridge and go through our cupboards; Dean replied "Jed's a big boy he can feed himself". Then I asked Dean if he even gave Jed a break to eat and the time he replied "Jed's a big boy if he is hungry he should feed himself". Boys are so much different than girls.

Sunday Ride...
Dean took me for a wheeler ride one Sunday and we left Josie with TJ. Dean prides himself in being a really good 4-wheeler driver and the ride was kind of lame, we weren't really going anywhere cool and we weren't really going fast. I didn't even suspect it but i actually got tricked I realized it when he started to point out what cows around us had hoof-rot. We weren't on a ride we were checking cows. O well I like to be with him nonetheless.

The ZOO...
I've been asking Dean to take me to the SLC zoo but we just have never got around to it. Last week Dean had to go to town to get some boots so I asked him to take Josie and me to the zoo. He said he was going to take us just to show me how lame it was, but I didn't care what point he was trying to prove I still got to go. However he was right it was super lame. I'm pretty sure every single animal at the zoo besides the bear lives in my back yard and I see them on a regular basis but we still had a good time.
I like to ride horses, I like the zoo, and I like animals, I just don't' like animals to touch me. I always tease Dean's sisters that they are crazy dog lovers (you know the kind that kiss dogs). Karma and I meet again, my Daughter loves, loves, loves animals.

Our 4th...
We had a fun fourth, however we didn't see one firework the entire weekend. We did the parade, swimming, and family party in Plain City on Saturday. Then came home for church and Sunday Fireworks but we were to tired to make the 45 minute drive to Lava. On Monday I ran the Soda springs 5K with my friend Jill, while Dean slept in and tended the girl. Dean worked all day Monday so that pretty much put a damper on anymore celebrating.

I Love that picture of the girl in her jammies, Way CUTE! That is funny about Dean feeding the boy, I can totally hear him saying that he could feed himself- poor kid.

Well, if Madeline was staying with Dean she would need to eat something before she did anything. She loves food and absolutely HATES work!
Maybe Jed should look into the laws of employment. I think that he is entitled to a break every four hours and at least 30 minutes for lunch.
Cute pictures of Josie!
Congratulations on running a 5K (glad I wasn't invited, I am way too lazy).
I think that you should separate your posts so then my comments are not so choppy.
Love you all - Emilee

As for the animals - I am with you. However now that we have a bunny my heart is softening. I still am not fond of holding her but love feeding her. (Really - she is just cute to look at)
I hate dogs and cats! The worst is when you are visiting teaching and their family dog wants to sit on your lap! Gross!

If I didn't believe in karma before, I do now. Your life is proof. I better start being more careful. Sorry the zoo was lame... I've been dying to pay a visit to the zoo as well. If I was married and had a kid we could go to the Hogle Zoo together. Just kidding I would still go with you. I agree with Em, maybe you should try blogging more often and breaking it up into different posts. I'm not complaining, cause I still want you to update, but just a thought.

I think the pic of Josie at the top is perfect for a little girl that is getting 2 teeth! Way to go Josie on getting teeth. Thank you for coming to my house and taking care of me, it is helping I still don't have to be 100% on bed rest!! Too bad your Jed took the hit on that. Way Way cool about your 5k. that is awesome. good job.

First of all, JED IS NOT A LITTLE BOY!. He has been hanging out with Dean long enough, he should know how Dean rolls. Emilee & Jenilyn's comments were as funny as your post. Jenilyn is right, your life is full of karma and then you have the drama that you try to prevent always coming right back to your door step:) You need a job. That would solve most of your problems. It will take time and then you will realize that if you have expectations about an event, you will imagine what you want to have happen and then go with people who share your vision (zoo, 4wheeling, fireworks) it is cool that I get to hang out with Emily. She pictures things like me & doesn't always make the best use of her time (in a very good, fun way)
