I just finished my first year teaching 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary. Here is my cute class. I really did enjoy this past year and I learned a lot. (Its always easier to say positive things when your looking back). However; I'm excited to stay home with my little Josie!
It's that time again. The time when Dean ropes daily. Sometimes I will ask Dean how his day went or what he did and he always gives me a long list of things he got accomplished, but almost always by the end of the night he will accidentally admit that he went roping. His practicing must be paying off, tonight he won a jackpot roping. I didn't go watch him but here are a few pictures of him roping at home.
I don't think you could call where I live a neighborhood, but if you could we had a little neighborhood softball game. It was really fun.
Here is the funny part. Right in the middle of an inning everyone on the field starts chasing a squirrel. It was so funny to see these grown boys chasing the little critter. Eventually they caught up to it. It's pretty obvious what happened to it after that.

Your class is funny. I want to know what one is the boy who said that funny thing about you telling the kid in the hallway to get back to class. I am laughing at what they think funny faces are. I did like how you admitted that it is easier to be positive after the year is over. I can't believe how soon Josie will be here. I loved all the pictures but I wanted to see CARPET:) That was a good shot of they chasing the squirrel.
Funny how Dean lets it ...slip... out. Thanks for a kid free weekend. Maybe when I am emotionally stable I will come back.
I am so excited for you to have Josie too so you can be as emotionally deranged and psychotic as the rest of us mothers. Dean is a real cowboy, for some reason I didn't think he was, but I now can see he is.
i once had a friend named lindsey, i miss her
Okay I finally get it! It was not until Sunday dinner but I finally understand "What happens next". That is sad. Why would they kill it? Maybe I am wrong I want to be wrong. As for the positive when looking back that is how most life experiences are. Unfortunately some tend to forget the "awful" parts and try once again :(
Mortal life is great! (sarcasm)
Love you!
