2015 Deer Hunt

We don't love Deer meat and Dean is pretty good about not hunting unless he finds a trophy animal. This year he had a trophy picked out, he and Zach had been scouting for weeks. Dean spent several nights on the hill, sometimes alone, sometimes with Zach. They were determined to kill this enormous Deer but he was just too smart (most likely why he lived to be so big) Dean didn't want to give up but knew I was running out of patience and he had real life things that took priority, otherwise he probably would have stayed on the hill all day and every night til they got it killed. Anyhow Trig and I were delighted when he killed this guy! I was happy because the hunt was over and Trig was so excited to use his own knife to help skin it. Everyday he tells me a few more gory details he learned about anatomy while skinning this thing. For example this morning he woke up, climbed into my bed and said, Mom deer eat grass, I know because I saw the grass in that Deer's stomach when dad cut it open".

Rhett's Blessing

Dean went to Nevada so we spent a few days at the White's before Rhett's blessing. The kids loved playing with cousins. After the blessing Daisy was giving away spa treatments to a few lucky people.

Some of September

She loves to play mommy but when she gets tired of that she starts to wine and says she's the baby.

Weaning

Dean took the kids early this morning to gather the pairs off the hill. He said they were really good help, they are really gaining confidence and learning to go off on their own. I was worried about how cold they would be but by the time they got back to the corrals they had shed most of their clothes. I went to take some pictures and Quincy wanted to ride. She wasn't happy she didn't get to ride her own horse but settled anyway. Quincy and Josie played while Trig and I helped sort the babies. When Trig got board he pulled weeds and threw them at the babies.

Quincy's First Hair Cut

Quincy was in a weird thing going on with her hair, half was really long and fine baby hair and some was thick grown up hair and it was a weird length so today we got it cut. She looks so cute and grown up. But she is still 2 and sticky so I end up pulling it up everyday anyway.

Sunday Drive

We went for a Sunday Drive on the hill. A dirty face is a sign of a good time.

Kindergarten

Josie missed the bus on her first day of school so I got to drive her and walk her in. She wasn't nervous at all just a little sad she didn't get to ride the bus. She loves school, her teacher, and her class. She loves riding the bus, she gets car sick on the bus but still enjoys the long 1 hour and 20 minutes she gets to play on there. She gets on the bus at 6:50 every morning and absolutely hates walking up and down our long driveway.

Piano Recital

Josie is doing the Lets Play Music program and loves learning to play the piano. Dean and I took her to her recital tonight and when we got in the car to go home she said, "alright where should we get the ice cream".

Some of August

Dean was like a kid on Christmas when he won the bidding war on this potato gun at the ward party.
On the way home from church Quincy said, Mom take my pictures and then gave me a big cheese.
We played all got together in Plain City for a couple days before school starts. It was so fun to visit and see everyone. I love when the cousins can play in the back yard together. The next day I took all these people to maverick, it was wild.
We planned a day at Bear Lake. It was fun to go with cousins.
Dean took the kids in the grain truck with him. He was so bothered when I was rooting around for seatbelts but he did let me put Quincy in a car seat just so she was restrained.
These two were so excited when they got really confident on their two wheelers. They have been asking to go on a real bike ride. I tried to explain to them we don't live in a great place for that. We rode all the way to Jacks barn they only had to walk their bikes up one big hill but when we got there they both said they would never do that again.

Trips

Alyson and Casey went to California for their anniversary and JTs wedding so I tended their kids for a couple days and they tended mine while Dean and I went to Park City for a few days. I only got this one picture of Dean on this lame repelling tower at the Olympic park. We really did have a great time other than the park being lame.
We had lots of fun with the Halls too. Levi and Hannah stayed with us during the school week and the kids loved having extra friends. On the weekend we went to plain city and explored a few parks.

Trig's First Day of Preschool

This handsome guy is so excited to start Preschool, he does a really neat program on the computer but I thought it would be good for him to actually go to school and learn to sit and obey and learn to control his body.

The 3rd child

One day Dean looked a Quincy and said, "I never thought you would let a kid look like that, you can defiantly tell she is the third child". Maybe I have become more laid back or I've just spiraled out of control with three kids, but I like to think I just think she is a funny little mess. She is messed all the time and she is naughty but I just can't get enough of her. She colors  on the walls and empties all the cupboard in the bathroom, she is the only 2 year old I know that still plays in the toilet and she is mouthy. She tells me know when I give her a job, she pees her pants all day, and she bites Trig and Josie....
and still I just can't get enough of her.
