We went to Utah for a couple days. We had so much fun, the weather was nice and Josie loved being outside with the cousins. We also had a Tea Party for Granny's birthday while we where there. I felt so bad by the time I paid enough attention to Josie to notice she was so sunburned. Porter and I were at the tea party too but between putting Josie down for a nap and feeding the boy we missed out on pictures with grandma. While we were there we got to see Maddie's violin concert, she was great!

Josie is a good big sister... always worried about brother. It's hard to get a picture of this boy without Josie in it, If I do have a picture of him alone you can bet that she was either cropped out or standing just outside the frame.

My sweet aunt Karla made Josie this cute sun hat. Josie loves hats, if she doesn't want me to do her hair she will put on a hat. She thinks they are so funny. She puts them on and laughs, takes them off, and does it all over again... until one of us (usually me) decides its not funny anymore.

I'm so in love with this little man, he is so easy going.

Last night I was making Dean some dinner and asked him to burp the baby. Then Josie started crying, she needed to read a book immediately. I asked Dean to read to her. Even with his hands already full he made it work. What a good dad!

Why he hasn't been home...

Dean has been working long hours the last couple weeks. He has been moving cows and branding calves. He worked over 600 cows and I only got a couple pictures, but I did make a lot of lunches I figure that was more important anyway.

I'm pretty sure PETA should be informed about some of these events.

Daunting Task...

My mom came to stay with us for a couple days. It was so fun to have a visitor. She was so helpful. She gave Porter his first bath, I did not want to do it. I don't know why but I'm pretty sure the idea was upsetting so my wonderful mom did it - and of course Josie helped. She also mopped my floor which was awesome!

Porter has been a little Jaundice and spent a couple days on bili lights. They were upsetting me also but after taking him to get his levels checked everyday for seven days the lights are finally gone. hallelujah.

My parents received their mission call last night to the Kenya Nairobi Mission. They will be English speaking service missionaries, leaving July 11th. So soon!

Open up...

Josie loves to give Porter his binky. All day long she either makes sure he has it or is trying to give it to him. She opens her mouth and says aah, trying to get him to open his mouth, when that doesn't work she gets frustrated and opens his mouth manually.

A stay with Grandma...

My mom was nice enough to keep Josie while we were at the hospital with Porter. I think besides the ear infection she had a great time. Thanks Mom!

Dean brought Josie to the hospital she was so cute. She wanted to see his toes and diaper. She showed me that he had ears, a mouth, and a nose. She hugged, kissed, and rubbed his head over and over. She loves her little brother and is always worried about him.

Dean has been so amazing. He took Josie to the Dr. while I was at the hospital, she had a broken ear drum and was so sick. He bought me a cute present, and has taken great care of all three of us. He truly has been so helpful and sweet.

Cousin Kason

Kason came to play at our house for a few days. He is such a good boy (Who knew kids that talk are so much easier to figure out). It was fun to watch them play together. They got a long so well, then would fight, and before I could get there to see the problem they were friends again. Josie was mesmerized with Kason she watched him so close and tried to be just like him. In this picture they both look a little nervous but they really did have a good time.

Multi-tasking Momma

This little lady is a good momma. She always makes sure her baby has a bottle, a bowl with a spoon, and a blanket. Josie loves to sit in the doll bouncer with her baby, it doesn't even bother her that she is obviously way way to big for it. This morning she was taking her baby for a stroll around the living room while taking care of some business on the phone.

I have a lot of anxiety about having another baby, but mostly I'm nervous that I'm going to miss this little girl. I know she is not going anywhere I just know things will be different. She is so fun and I love how much she is pretending. I have enjoyed her so much the last few months.

Jenna planned a fun birthday party for Laurel last Saturday. We went to lunch and then bowling. It was the first time Josie had ever gone bowling and she loved it.

We went to Utah for conference weekend. It was good to get out of the house. Dean kept himself busy trading horses and Josie loved playing with all the kids.

Today while I was getting ready I heard Josie talking to herself an unusual amount while she was eating breakfast. I went in to see what she was talking about but I didn't expect her to be flipping through a bull brochure while enjoying her cereal. She is such a ham.

Pregnant...

I went to the Dr. yesterday and she told me I was still pregnant -she always tells me that then sends me home. So we are just home waiting to meet the little man in two weeks. I think I'm finally ready emotionally and physically.
