Hope ya know we had a hard time

Sunday before church we loaded the car and the truck so we could head out right after church. I had lunch packed so the kids could eat in the car. We went to church, came home to change our clothes and headed out the door on our way to Addy’s. Dean was right behind us with a crew of guys headed to Nevada to brand. We hit treasurton and as I turned around to give Josie a sandwich I lost control and wrecked into a fence. Because the ground was so wet from the rain it caused us to slide instead of roll. It was scary and terrible; I’m really grateful we were protected because it could have been a lot worse if we had rolled. Dean came a few minutes later and drove the car up and down the road he said it was fine to drive and that I should keep going to Utah. I waited for the cops and got an accident report. In sardine canyon I blew a tire. When I called Dean for help he said he was on the side of the road fixing his own blown tire. I called to cops to come help me, meanwhile two good Samaritans stopped to help. I took a lot of you tube videos and three guys to finally get it fixed. I called Dean to tell him I was on my way and he was again fixing a second blown tire on his trailer. We agreed not to travel on Sunday again.

I stayed the night at my moms. I made all the arrangements to take it to a repair shop the next day and get a rental car. The next morning I dropped off my car and enterprise came to pick me up. I put a large dent in the side of their brand new rental van with the bed frame I was taking to Addy. Next I walk in the rental car office and they tell me that they can’t rent a car to me because my drivers’ license was expired. They drove me back to my moms and I borrowed my dad’s truck. When I finally got to Addys I found that the bed I had come all the way to deliver was in reality two headboards instead of a head and a footboard. And when I called to tell Dean that bad news he told me that all of his horses ran away with a herd of wild mustangs.

We had a hard time, we felt jinxed but we got over it and are left feeling very blessed.
