This guy turned 4. He is really growing up, he had kind of lost his baby face and is very independent. I really love him but he is mean, he is a hitter and a bully. I looked outside this morning and he was chasing with girls with a hot dog roasting stick. He is bigger and taller than Josie (it really really bothers her) and he uses it to his advantage. I have been trying really hard to be tender and teach him tender things but I don't feel like they are sinking in at all. This boy is hilarious always pulling faces and telling jokes. He LOVES his bike, wrestling, being outside, tools, working with his dad, basketball and swimming.
Trig got to open his first present from grandma Sharon a little early because they were leaving on their mission. He was so excited to finally have some real pirate toys.
He was so much fun making his birthday cake. He loved stirring and adding ingredients
The boy will not make a normal face for a picture no matter the bribe
after a lot of pleading and begging he finally let Josie help a little with the cake.
Later he was so excited to show his dad the finished product before we opened presents.
again with the crazy faces.
I told them for the birthday party we would play don't touch the ground with balloons that seemed to keep them busy for a while. We had to have cake one day early because Dean was going out of town. So Trig wouldn't accept that Tuesday was his actual birthday but we still had pizza at the park and walked through the Willow Park Zoo. On the way home we stopped for slurpies and that was pretty much the most exciting thing they have ever done in their life to date.
