Last night our microwave gave out. I went to town to get a new one today. Dean set it up and got rid of the old one. I went over to set the clock on it. Then Dean, completely serious, in an 'aha' moment voice said, "I know why the old on broke... because you ran it so much when there was noting in it."
WHAT? WHY WOULD I EVEN DO THAT?

That made me laugh because my parents used to keep a cup of water in our microwave in case we ever ran it empty. And I always thought the same thing!
P.S. We survived 56 days without a microwave. You didn't even make it one :)
Maybe you should have Dean call Doug, he seems to know everything.
