Santa

We took the kids to see Santa a few times this year so when I asked Dean if we could stop to see him at Smith and Edwards he was not happy. though we had seen santa I hadn't ever gotten the typical santa picture so Dean let us stop against his will. I'm so happy he did, it was so funny. Quincy was terrified and we got our typical Santa picture!

Disneyland Day 6

We headed over to the park early Saturday morning, we fulfilled everyones last wishes including getting Dean some cotton candy and riding splash mountain at least 4 more times. We were done at the park by noon and headed back to the hotel. By now Trig had whatever terrible sickness Josie had and they were pretty beat. We visited in the hotel for a while with the Hall's waiting for our shuttle and headed to the airport.

Josie slept on the bench waiting for the plane and then Trig, Josie and Dean slept the entire plane ride home. I guess thats how you know you had a really great time and everyone is worn out, or sick, but I'm going with worn out. We really did have such a great time and if they had to get sick it really worked out perfectly. I was so excited to see my baby girl, I wish I would have recorded her greeting. She was so excited to see us. She hugged me and them hugged the kids and then kissed Dean and then went back and hugged the kids and then sat by me and then went back and kids both the kids and hugged Dean and then came back to me. She was just adorable. 

Disneyland Day 5

So my bad, Josie was actually sick, like really sick. She slept til 11 but I was totally okay with it because it was raining outside. I did laundry all morning and we went swimming and then got Josie ready and as we were waiting at the bus stop Dean said, "I just don't think I can do another day at Disneyland". He obviously didn't want to be there and Josie just wanted to sleep so they spent the day in the hotel. Trig and I did whatever he wanted, all day, it was so fun, just me and him. I bought Trig some rain boots hoping I could take them back and we wouldn't need them in Disneyland but because it seemed like rain I pulled them out. As soon as I cut the tags off it never rained another drop. Karma. It was worth buying the boots for the perfect weather we had there. I had such a fun day just playing with my boy!

Disneyland Day 4

Josie gets car sick a lot and really easy so I thought nothing of it when she threw up when we stepped off the bus into the Disneyland park. but she kept complaining that she was sick and wanted to go back to the hotel. I thought she would snap out of it and probably still felt sick from the bus. We even rented these stroller so she could lay back and enjoy her morning (our stroller wasn't that comfy plus these were a dream to push). She did get feeling a little better but still enjoyed having being able to lay around between rides all day. This was a very important day because we got to meet the main event for her. Sleeping Beauty is her favorite, and we just lucked out getting to the royal castle meeting more princesses with NO line at all. It was perfect. We watched a show while Dean went and had some lunch and the kids loved it. Cinderella and Snowhite both remembered meeting Josie the day before and that really made her happy. The kids LOVED the parade it was so so magical for Trig, I loved watching him every time another float passed. Josie kept asking if they were real things or just people dressed up, I assured her they were all real!

Disneyland Day 3

This was a BIG day for us, we went to California Adventure and had a blast. We met lots and lots of characters. Woody made the trip worth going, Trig loves him and he was so cute to play with Trig for a long time. I took Josie to lunch with the princesses and she was so sweet to each of them as they came by to visit her. After lunch we went back to the hotel and they took naps while I did laundry, I didn't need to but having piles of dirty clothes gives me crazy anxiety. When they woke up we went swimming and played in the hotel room for a little while. It was the perfect amount of down time before heading back to watch the World of Color show and then spend a late night at Disneyland.
