Day 3

We spent Saturday at Willard Bay. The weather was perfect, I got a terrible sunburn but was mature enough to lather up my little family. JD and Catherine were nice enough to take us all boating, they were so patient and everybody got more than enough turns doing whatever they wanted. Johnny rented a surf board thing that was super fun and everyone enjoyed. The kids loved the sand and just playing all day. It was fabulous!
Day 4
Sunday was my parents farewell. They did a wonderful job. The chapel and gym were completely full with people, no wonder they don't like you to have farewells anymore. They have so many supportive people that love and respect them. They will be missed, but for a good purpose.

Tonight Dean put Josie to bed. 10 minutes later I hear a fake cry, it goes on for over 10 minutes so I finally go in to see what the problem is. As soon as I opened the door she held out a boogie on her finger and started saying "ew ew kuck ew". I got a wipe and washed her hands and face; she smiled and giggled a little. She is so cute, so I took her picture and she laid right back down and went to sleep; well at least I think she is asleep, she might still be picking her nose.

Little Man

He smiles! I love to watch him when he is laying on the floor and Josie is talking gibberish to him and he smiles so big. I love him a lot!
He has been a pretty uncomfortable baby lately, not feeling to good. I'm trying a formula that is supposed to help with sensitive stomachs, we'll see if it helps. Maybe I just make unhappy babies. He hates the car, cries almost everywhere we go, just like Josie did. Maybe it is a sign I should stay home. He has slept seven hours two nights in a row so hopefully that sticks. He is in 3 month clothes already, he is a big boy, which I love.
Dean took us to SLC for the night to see my grandparents. They had never met our boy and it had been a while since Dean had seen grandpa Virg. We had a good visit and Josie finally warmed up when it was time to leave.

Happy Birthday Ang!

Angela invited me to her birthday party. She had a contest to dress like her, weird that I didn't win but who could be outdone by granny! I have been asking to paint her toenails for years and she will never let me but with the Westergard girls help she really out did herself for the prize. Addy was a close second with the awful base lines, and CJ with his giant Pepsi and I love Mike shirt.
She had a candy contest which I also did not win, weird! O and in my heart I won the "Who know Angela best game" though I didn't get the prize she even admitted she needed to revaluate herself because I really did know more of her favorite things then she did. We had a great time, Happy Birthday Ang!

Friends

Our friends came to play for a couple of days! It was so fun to see Josie interact with them, we love to have other kids over. She is not always nice but she is learning. She had a hard time sharing and would just follow them around and try to gather up her toys so they didn't play with them. Other times she would try to give them toys even when they didn't want them. She took Cole around the living room and pointed and said No No No to the things he shouldn't touch like the outlets and the fireplace (I was surprised she knew they were off limits because its has never stopped her). It was funny that she knew Cole was younger than her because he is just as big as her; but she was trying to burp him, and give him a bottle, she wanted him to lay down on her doll blanket and she tried several times to lock him in the baby chair.

Trying to get her toy back from Paisley - She gave Cole at least 20 hugs a day.
Paisley organized this little band. She played instruments all day long. She wanted the babies to play with her but this was the only time they both cooperated at the same time. (I was on the real piano but she kept telling me I was messing up and then she would come teach me how to play, she was so fun)

Girly Girl?

The girl likes to look pretty- however she is not afraid to get dirty. She loves to look at her hair in the mirror after it's done and she holds still really well while I do her hair. She always loves to have her nails painted and holds still for that too. On Sunday Ang gave her glitter nails. This takes a lot longer than just painting but she held still perfectly.

a name and a blessing

Dean blessed the boy today...
He did a wonderful job and we enjoyed a nice dinner with the family.
Isn't she adorable. Ballard's came to stay the night with us before the blessing.

If the paint is washable there is a pretty good chance it's not toxic right?

6.03.2011

We got a trampoline, I'm not sure who was more excited me or Leann. I love it! I made sure I could still do a back flip. Dean must have been a little jealous that I'm so talented because he came up with this little trick.

We can't decide if we should put it in the ground or not... any suggestions?

My Boy

My boy is 7 weeks old. He is a pretty good baby, but defiantly has his fussy times. He eats really good, but spits up a lot. He loves to be held, and is good to put up with Josie in his face always. He is growing and we really love him.
P.S. we are doing the puppy thing again, wish them luck I hope they live.

Memorial Day

We went to Dean's grandparents for dinner the Sunday before Memorial Day.
Trigger sang to us and Jenna gave they boys pedicures, she is brave.
Josie loved playing outside as usual. Kason wanted to hold Josie and she let him.
