Happy Easter...

Almost Spring...
On warm days Josie and I go for walks. She cries the whole time one direction no matter what I do, she cries if the sun is in her eyes and she cries if she can't see because I blocked the sun with something that consequently blocks her view. However going the other direction she is completely content and usually lets me know she is enjoying herself with a random yell or giggle.
PS I got this great all terrain running stroller at the DI for $25.00 - great find!
Calving...I probably much like Dean get excited every spring when the first baby Calf is born. I also much like Dean am completely ready for calving to be over by the end of the season. Dean has 350 babies only 100 more to go. Though I don't actually do any work for these little babies I worry about them constantly, every time Dean comes in the house I ask him how many have been born and if they are all alive. During this time of year the priesthood attendance at church drastically decreases and its all the men that are at church talk about.
8 Months... Josie is really into attacking things. She will crawl up to something and yell, throw her arms around, and try biting. She does this to people, toys, bath water... or just whatever. She is crawling really fast and is into everything. She is trying to pull herself up to stuff but doesn't have it figured out yet. She is super vocal and usually pretty happy. I don't have any baby Einstein movies but I wanted to get some, so the other day I let her watch it on you tube and she was going crazy, she was trying to get the toys on the screen and yelling and giggling. I thought I was recording her with the camera inside the computer but I guess I was just taking pictures.
Dean surprised me with a trip for our anniversary. It was so fun, I knew nothing about it and totally didn't expect that he would do anything let alone plan a vacation. On Monday night he came home and said to pack my stuff we were leaving in 20 minutes and would be gone for a couple days. I get anxiety so bad before a trip, planning every detail and making sure I haven't forgot anything; so it was nice to go do something fun with no time to worry.
We dropped Josie off with Ballards and headed to the airport (Dean wouldn't tell me where we were going until now). I threw up on the airplane like normal but in two short hours we landed in San Diego. When we got off the plane we rented a car from a creepy little place near the airport because it was sooo cheap. When Dean called them they told him it was a little Toyota so because of Toyota's recent accelerator problems Dean jokingly asked if the accelerator would stick, the man replied his latino accent, "Even if it does sir you won't go every fast its an Echo". When we walked in the building to sign papers I was nerviously biting my nails because the place was so dirty and sketchy. Dean slapped my hand and told me to stop because I would get a diesae from Hell, it really was a creepy place and the car was a 2001, manual, Echo, that without a doubt had a salvaged title. Dean thoroughly enjoyed it though, he drove it like a race car the entire time, flipped an extremely tight U-ee every time he could, squealed the tires at every stop light, and I literally feared for my life. One time when we parked the car and walking away, two cops stopped and were looking at the car. I made Dean go talk to them and they told him that this wasn't a good company to rent from and they are involved with drug rings, Oops.
We went to Belmont Park and the boardwalk on the beach, Seaworld, the USS Midway Air Craft Carrier Museum, Old Town San Diego, and Coronado Island. The weather was amazing and it was nice to see flowers and Green. We flew on Laurel's standby tickets so we spent the last day trying to get on a plane but they were all pretty full. Dean needed to get home to the cows and I wanted to see Josie so instead of getting a hotel and trying to catch a flight the next day we just drove home. We rented a car and drove to Vegas where Dean just had to stop and get a $2.99 prime rib dinner. That ended up being a $10.99 chicken dinner with the smallest tea cup of chili to go with it, lets just say he felt completely betrayed. The drive wasn't bad, we made it in ten hours and it was nice to visit and see the scenery out of California, after that there wasn't much to look at. We had a great time.
Finally...
Dean and I have needed a new computer for 3 years and we finally got one. We love it. TJ came to set it up for us, so him and Josie tested out its features.

Grandpa Virg...He is so sweet and he loves Josie. Grandpa takes such good care of my grandma and is always so fun to visit with. I love to hear his stories of his childhood.
Sweet Girls...
I got to get these sweet girls ready for Disney on Ice. They were so funny. Taylor knew just how she wanted her hair, she said that Ariel's hair isn't really curly just wavy and Kaitlyn just had to have a pony tail. I took their picture and they did a good spin for the camera. Rio didn't actually get to go to Disney on Ice but she called her self Princess Red Rio, She is adorable.
Happy Anniversary...
Dean is such a good dad. He is an amazing husband and truly my best friend. He would do anything for me and Josie. I love that he is excited about life, he keeps me enthusiastic. I love his strong testimony and love for the and gospel. I love how passionate he is about his job, he truly does his best and is such a hard worker. I'm so lucky to have this boy in my life, plus he is cute.
