Fathers Day Weekend... or mothers day - pretty sure I had a better time???
Dean let me go down Utah to play with Emilee. We were supposed to decorate but instead we went shopping and had a great time. Friday night Angela and I had a sleepover, childish yes but we stayed up until 2 and laughed. Saturday Dean met Josie and I at the Frank Hall reunion it was great weather.
Later we took Nana and Papa Shopping and tried to make it back in time for Dean to rope. On our way home Dean told me it was like the Chris LeDoux song Photo Finish. Then I joked that hopefully we wouldn't run into a herd of sheep or get pulled over but not long after we saw the flashing lights. It makes Dean mad when I say it but I'm pretty convinced we could have got out of it if Dean didn't fight back (male ego I guess). $85 later we arrived in time and Dean won 2nd fast go and though the winnings didn't cover the entry fees or the speeding ticket we had a great time.
I was so tired Sunday Dean let me sleep and he got up and fed Josie and played with her. During the meeting I leaned over and asked Dean to take me to Jackson Hole. I didn't think he would but it was worth a shot... he said yes. We ran home and changed and we were on our way by 11. The drive was beautiful the park was still the same as I remember it but well worth the trip. I love Dean, He is my best friend and the Best dad ever.
P.S. Dean is getting a concrete patio for fathers day and I'm really the one who wants it so to soften the blow I got him a cute shirt and when he saw it he politely asked if he could exchange it. I love him.

Girls Camp...
This was the 4th year I got to go up to Girls Camp. I love my young women, our ward has such good fun girls, I really do love all of them. The last day they got rained out so we had the luau at the stake center. It was dry and fun.

We love our cute dads...

Washing Dishes...
I don't have a dish washer, I wish I did but there really isn't a place in my kitchen for one. My sink backed up and it was seriously the longest three days of my life. Dean tried a couple things to fix it and we ended up calling a plumber. Meanwhile I rinsed my dishes outside and washed them in the tub. Gross I know but I was so worried they wouldn't get clean I boiled water, used Clorox, and washed them twice. Truth be know its probably the cleanest they have ever been. PS - Dean absolutely refuses to use paper products.

By the Way...
This girl crawls for real now... no more army crawling.
and for the last time NO I did NOT cut her bangs like that, It's just the way they grew in.

We love visitors...
Granny, Rio, Krey, and Addy came to stay. We had a great time!

Bruise Worth Remembering...
Dean was breaking a colt and it apparently wasn't happy about it. The baby colt side kicked him with both his legs; one leg to the calf and the other to the hip. The picture doesn't do it justice but the bruise goes all the way around.

Branding the Stragglers...
Dean Branded the last of the baby calves for this year. I think these ones made it something like 560 head. He acts like its hard work but he can't fool anybody, he loves every minute.

Josie is so Determined...
I'm a little worried about it. The other day her pants got caught on this pillow and it really slowed her down; so she just wiggled around until she got them off and was on her way.
Last night she was trying to get her bottle of soap off the side of the tub and she would climb up and almost reach it, slip, then slide down. She did it over and over. After almost ten minutes I gave in and just handed it to her.

Memorial Weekend...
Finally we had some warm weather. We had a BBQ with Dean's Family on Sunday.
As red neck as it is the boys shot over 600 bullets, They claim they shot over 600 squirrels but I'm going to guess they just aren't that accurate.
On Monday we did yard work. Our yard is so far from finished but we are finally starting to see some progress. Casey and Alyson, and my mom and dad came to help!
Dean always is doing unsafe things with the grandkids and I hoped that when we had our own children he would calm down and realize they are irreplaceable; but no he just does unsafe stuff with my child too! At least I know how my sisters feel now.

Sick Girl...
Josie has been so sick this past week, she had been miserable. At first I thought she was teething (I pretty much think she is teething every time she cries. but still NO teeth). After being sick for a good week I took her to the Dr. We went on Sunday after church, I was telling the Dr. that she was miserable and had been crying for a week and wouldn't you know the entire appointment she smiled and squirmed. Today I'm pretty sure her eardrum broke but we have her on antibiotics and I think things are finally looking up.
Josie NEVER holds still and she definitely doesn't lay around and let you hold her so this is proof the girl was super sick.

Its just not Kosher...
I'm completely aware that it is not okay to publish pictures of people but I was just so happy I couldn't help myself. These two came to see me!!! It was so fun to visit with them, truly made my day. Come back soon!

This kid is busy, busy...
Josie is 10 months... she is at a fun stage, she is so busy but it's fun to see her learn new things.

We went to watch these cute girls dance at Lagoon (3rd place in nationals I might add) and Josie danced the whole time the music played.

jOSie LoVEs tJ...
Josie has always loved TJ. She gets so excited when he comes around and he can get her to laugh harder then anybody. TJ got this picture done with Josie at the Mall, he is such a good uncle.

Hyrum...
Josie got to ride on Hyrum for the first time. She didn't really get what was happening but it was more just a good memory for me. Let your daughter ride one of you favorite horses- check! Hopefully she can do it many more times.

Best Job Ever...
I was hired by a tutoring company to tutor these fabulous kids (they also happen to be in my ward). They go to a public school but they do it from home online. I went every Tuesday and when ever else they needed me. They took turns playing with Josie and she loved the attention. It worked well to set my own schedule, Plus the job pays Excellent! My dad said I never met a job I liked - well this one proves him wrong.

Granny Sharon's Birthday Tea Party...
Isn't this classic - I think its timeless - I sure love my Granny
